Memory Box

“MEMORY BOX” is an installation exhibited in Anaid Art Gallery, inspired by old photo albums wich we discover when we look for material proof of memories. The installation has the shape of an opened powder box where the top of the box (the mirror) is a projection of my own image. On the part at the bottom, I placed 30 rusty iron medallions showing different portraits. The images of the portraits were manually deteriorated.
Technique: installation, collage on metal, projected image.
Materials: Rusty iron, paper.
